Cool Stuff: MuteWatch Watch
MuteWatch is a Swedish company pursuing a "simplistic and human approach" to technology. This minimal and modern watch is designed to be intuitive, with a tap on the flat surface activating the watchface. A simple swipe allows access to other functions such as alarm and timer, and setting time is as easy as tapping on the top of the digit for a higher or on the bottom of the digit for a lower one.
The intensity of the LED display (100Hz) automatically adapts to the surrounding light for optimal glow, and the battery, which lasts around 1 week (depending on usage), is fully charged via USB in 2 hours. There is also a motion sensor built in, allowing a simple flick of the wrist activating the display and level of movement adjusting the intensity of the vibrating alarm. Adjustable wristband, hand washable, arrives in hibernation mode.
